A tune out of the Beattown labs has made it to the other side of the planet: The Trishes-produced Zeebee song "Sunny Friend" appears on the first issue of the compilation series "Departure Lounge" issued on Sydney-based Petrol Records. Subtitled "World Love/Whatever", the CD also features big names like Dimitri from Paris, Apani B Fly or Pharoahe Sanders. Radio FM4 is already talking about it...

Speaking of that station: Unison presented their new EP "Sound Networks" there last Thursday, before starting their three-day trip around Austria (see dates). Test pressings are already done, but we're still working on that cover, so it's probably gonna take another month or something.

Thanks to all the people who came through! All the others can peep the dates section for upcoming Unison gigs in order not to miss it the next time round. And while the next Unison EP is already through mastering and scheduled to invade your ears sometime in February, the 7" will be in stores by the end of January, but you can already pre-order it.

Speaking of online record shopping, we're glad to announce that Beattown records are now also available at hiphopvinyl.de for the heads in Germany.

Also on the way to a record player near you are two releases by Unison (who now have their own website as well): First the 45, which you can check out and pre-order here and then a second EP coming in shortly afterwards. Later on, the marvellous "Take My Hands" track by Trishes & Aladin Sani will finally be made available on wax too, and there will probably be one or two other projects coming to life as well.

On another note, Trishes produced a track called "Agent Shadrin", which appears on this year's Battle Of The Year compilation. B-Girls & -Boys Beware...

Both Trishes & Whizz supplied the people at Völkl with some beats for their upcoming snowboard DVD. Trishes also wrote and produced a track for the upcoming musical Udo 77 (go see it!) by Viennese art collective monochrom. And while he'll soon record new songs with singer Aladin Sani, their song "Take My Hands" was licensed for yet another compilation. And this website's music-section now sports a beautiful music player for your ears only. The list goes on & on & on & on...
